the story
I started DailyPings in December 2024 as my first project for the build-in-public community I'd discovered on X almost two years earlier.
The original idea was simple: a Hacker News for indie hackers - a lightweight place to post daily updates and see what others were shipping.
After a few months of light maintenance, summer 2025 brought a full revamp: a cleaner design, Markdown support, and space for long-form posts - while keeping the platform minimal.
The goal is to raise the quality of what's shared and spark better conversations.
Today, over 1,500 posts have been shared by the community.
