I've built Prmptless – an app for creating, managing & reusing AI prompt templates.
My motivation for Prmptless was to fix inefficiencies in my AI workflow: repetitive prompting for models like GPT and inconsistent output quality. I aimed for a practical tool to improve this.
Core Functionality:
- Template Creation with Variables: Define prompts as templates with {variables} for customization. This allows quick adaptation of a proven prompt structure.
- Prompt Organization: A central place to store & categorize prompts, making them easier to find and reuse than if lost in chat logs or notes.
- Output Consistency: Aims to achieve more predictable results from AI by standardizing the input prompt structure.
- Sharing and Privacy Controls: Users can keep templates private or (optionally) share them. 216+ prompts are currently in the shared library.
Prmptless is for anyone who regularly uses AI and wants to optimize their prompting process – developers, marketers, writers, or those on solo/indie projects.
As a solo developer on this project, I am keen to get your direct feedback on its utility.
I'm particularly interested in your thoughts on:
- Does Prmptless address a genuine need in your AI usage?
- How intuitive is the template editor and overall workflow?
- Key features or improvements that would make it more valuable?
Thank you for considering it.
